Social Media Manager

West Yorkshire – hybrid working

£30k-£40k dependant on experience

Our client is a rapidly growing online retailer, who are recruiting for a talented Social Media Manager to join their growing marketing team at an exciting time in the company’s growth. Heading up the small Social Media team, you will help to develop and execute market-leading social campaigns for many brands, across a variety of channels, in order to drive revenue, reach, following and increase brand awareness.

Key Tasks:

  • Contribute to and lead the direction of organic and paid social media strategy
  • Organise and manage the social media content calendar
  • Assist in the planning to execution of marketing campaigns, across Social Media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). Including copywriting, following brand guidelines and working closely with the wider marketing team to ensure all online output is integrated
  • Coordination of Social Media asset creation, as part of the growing need for eye-catching designs and animated content
  • Work closely with the marketing team, to help grow the influencer and ambassador network. Keep track of budgets, contracts and deliverables
  • Manage gifting and regional budgets
  • Scheduling and publishing social content as required
  • Plan, execute and report on paid social campaigns using Meta suite
  • Analyse, report and improve the performance of campaign
  • Analysis of competitor campaigns
  • Operate as a key member of the wider marketing team, contributing ideas to the development of the team’s objectives

About you:

  • Imaginative, creative and Social Media obsessed. You’re up to date with all the latest trends and Social Media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in consumer Social Media role with paid social experience.
  • Experience of Social Media scheduling is required
  • A natural communicator. You’re quick to build relationships and establish rapport with influencers, managers and agencies at all levels
  • Experience using Meta paid social suite
  • Excellent copywriting skills for content and scripts
  • Strong presentation skills, plus proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics
  • Organised, flexible and adaptable. You’re a fast learner with great attention to detail and ready to hit the ground running
