Marketing Manager – IT Services
Our client are one of Yorkshire’s leading independent IT companies that provide a range of IT managed services to more than 200 companies across the region. The company provides B2B IT Services with a focus on Microsoft Cloud, Cyber Security and a broad range of complementary fully managed services to provide customers with a full end-to-end IT service or specialist expertise to complement their in house team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our continued growth as we look to add an internal Marketing resource to oversee our continued marketing efforts and output.
With our marketing function predominately outsourced until now, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help define, develop and join at the ground floor as we grow and invest further in this aspect of our business.
Working closely with and reporting to our Directors, we are welcoming applications from experienced Marketing Managers who will take responsibility for our full end to end marketing strategy and output.
This is a new role and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate willingness, experience and an ability to fit in and do ‘whatever IT takes’.
Responsibilities
- Develop a marketing strategy to help ensure the company are visible to their target market
- Continually developing the market position as a subject matter expert
- Develop offline marketing materials that convey technical capability, outstanding service to different personas of buyer
- Manage the online output across Social, Email Marketing and Blogs
- Manage online and offline events such as ‘lunch and learn’ style events that deliver value to customers and prospects
- Sound technical knowledge of the ‘tools of the trade’ including Hubspot, Adwords, re-marketing, webmaster tools and so forth that will ensure visibility into the performance and ROI of marketing efforts
