In this role you’ll be leading the Marketing Analytics team, part of a growing marketing hub which brings analytics together with customer insights, customer experience, user experience, digital product and content management together. You will be focused on driving a tangible business impact with freedom to identify areas of improvement through the implementation of data analytics-based solutions. You will take satisfaction in acting upon your findings and having your recommendations taken onboard by the business, working closely with the delivery teams as an equal partner to execution.
You will be expected to focus on more than just analytics: you will be a thought partner across the business. You and your team will deliver customer-centric, data driven and profitable business, CRM and digital insights and deliver timely and actionable business reporting.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the business’s Analytics capabilities
Work with Marketing teams to develop and deliver the data-led CRM Transformation Roadmap and resulting CRM programs to increase conversion, build customer relationships, cross sell and up sell and report on the value created.
Drive intelligent multichannel rules based on automated CRM programs (across direct mail, contact centre, email, SMS and onsite) to drive engagement and product uptake.
Lead strategy and development of segmentations and data modelling techniques to drive customer strategy, targeting of communications etc.
Deliver automation programmes and simplified, actionable management MI/BI dashboards via Power BI), focusing the team on strategic insight delivery (vs data provision and reports).
Develop and embed web analytics insights to drive a digital-first culture, conversion and browser behaviour insights and A/B testing to establish a continuous improvement of the digital experience,.
Exploring external data vendors as well as group and in-house capabilities to maximise ROI
Responsibility for the Campaign Management function and management of a web analytics team that helps deliver improved customer experience, conversion and browser behaviour data.
Requirements
Thorough experience with customer analytics, which includes multi-touch attribution, demand expectations, lifetime value, multi-variant testing and customer segmentation.
A firm grasp of business priorities, recognition of leverage in analytics endeavours, and ability to prioritize as needed.
A technical grounding in Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI etc.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels of the business
Experience of leading a team
Passionate about your work and not afraid to dig deep to solve problems within a fast-paced atmosphere.
