Digital Marketing Manager

Our client is a rapidly developing online retailer and one of the fastest growing technology businesses in the North of England. The have an exciting new role that has been created in the Performance Marketing team. This job role will support the Head of Marketing in building, executing and measuring digital campaigns to drive quality traffic to their website and apps.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Manage PPC, App, Shopping, affiliates and social media campaigns across Google, Bing, AWIN and across social media platforms.
  • Work with digital agencies to ensure all digital marketing campaigns and channels adhere to latest best practice and are kept to the highest industry standards.
  • Track channel KPIs to assess commercial performance, identifying both opportunities and issues.
  • Work with the digital experience and storefront teams to optimise traffic into website to increase ROI.
  • Edit and review ad campaign copy and text to deliver maximum ROI.
  • Proactive in seeking new opportunities through emerging channels.
  • Oversee a test and learn approach, getting into the detail and testing new strategies and techniques to drive KPIs.
  • Maintain agency and supplier relationships, constantly working with them to challenge the status quo and over deliver on targets.
  • Training and upskilling junior members of the performance marketing team.
  • Optimising channels and ensuring BAU work is kept on top of to help maintain performance.

Requirements –

  • Successful track record in growing traffic and customer acquisition through digital marketing
  • Working knowledge of key programs including Good Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook and Google Analytics .
  • Analytical approach with strong ability for analysing data (Google Analytics, Adwords data, behaviour data etc).
  • A knowledge of modern search and social best practices (Performance Max etc.).
  • A good understanding of media tracking, tagging and automation.
  • Capable of presenting data, trends and insights confidently and succinctly.
  • Strong attention to detail with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for delivering best-in-class digital marketing campaigns.
