We are seeking an E-Commerce Assistant- Email to join our ambitious digital team to own the day-to-day maintenance and continuous improvement of our ESP/marketing CRM activities. Working closely with the digital, marketing and customer service teams, this is a pivotal role in delivering the brands online presence and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

–          Working closely with the E-Commerce Data & Analytics Manager to identify different customer profiles / segments and carry out the optimisation of CRM/marketing activities across those landscapes.

–          Effective day to day maintenance of our ESP for both Silver Cross & Micralite

–          Ensure emails follow industry policies/ requirements and Install best practices.

–          Analyse data and metrics for individual campaigns/ automated trigger campaigns

–          Provide recommendations for new and existing campaigns including triggers, and automation

–          Analyse campaign performance and suggest platform innovation and improvement.

–          Design and implement direct email marketing and automated campaigns across all devices/ email clients.

–          Create A/B tests for campaign optimisation

–          Analyse email list health and segmentation strategy

–          Segment audiences based on predefined attributes and demographic data

–          Measure results and optimise lead nurturing workflows

–          Assist and provide recommendations on deliverability issues

–          Working closely with the E-Commerce Data & Analytics assistant in identifying and analysing key trends and factors that influence behaviour and Customer Lifetime Value.

–          Assist the wider ecommerce team with providing list exports for integrated channel marketing.

–          Brief the creative teams on all email assets.

–          Undertaking alternative duties within the department as dictated by business demands, workload levels and under direction of the E-Commerce Trading Manager.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

Demonstrable experience in Digital E-Commerce and Email. Ideally with at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
Demonstrable experience of working / managing, E-Commerce ESP’s / CRM’s
Use of Google Analytics and familiarity with other analytical and database tools
An understanding of Adobe CS & basic HTML coding for email marketing.
·         Proficiency in marketing automation technology

Good understanding of GDPR and CAN-SPAM
Conscientious, creative with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, tenacious and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills – able to communicate with staff in all areas of the business and customers where necessary
Independence – able to prioritise and take ownership of a project
A keen interest in digital/E-Commerce trends and a passion for improving customer experience, LTV and revenue.
