We are seeking an E-commerce Assistant to join our ambitious digital team to assist the Head of Digital & E-Commerce across all areas of Digital landscape. Working closely with the digital, marketing, customer experience, merchandising teams and external agencies this is a fantastic chance to help shape the brands E-Commerce activity.

Key responsibilities:

·         Assisting the Head of Digital & E-Commerce across all digital disciplines – Data, Analytics, Acquisition and Trading.

·         Helping to deliver website developments & new technologies in order to keep ahead of the competition.

·         Working with the E-Commerce Trading team and external agencies to ensure the online function is up to date and trading as it should, reporting any issues to our development agency.

Assist the SEO agency and the wider E-Commerce team undertake Keyword, competitor, and content research – ensuring keywords, titles, and product descriptions for all listings are optimised and well-ranked in search results.
Weekly reporting of SEO results / rankings.
·         Working with the wider E-Commerce team and external agencies to run tests to ensure our web platform is at its best.

·         Monitor best performing pages and work with the teams to constantly feedback and improve performance.

·         Brief the creative, marketing and external paid agencies on acquisition display materials.

·         Testing and QA of improvements deployed to the website to ensure changes are correct and users will experience no issues feeding back to the Head of Digital & E-Commerce.

·         Occasional support for our Trading, Email Marketing and Social Media teams.

·         Undertaking alternative duties within the department as dictated by business demands, workload levels and under direction of the Head of Digital & E-Commerce.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

Demonstrable experience in E-Commerce. Ideally with at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
Technical experience of E-Commerce platforms & content management systems.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other tools in the Google suite.
An understanding of basic HTML coding, Prototyping Tools & web design.
Some experience of SEO & PPC Agency management a plus.
Conscientious, creative with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, tenacious and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills – able to communicate with staff in all areas of the business and customers where necessary
Independence – able to prioritise and take ownership of a project
A keen interest in digital/E-Commerce trends and a passion for improving user experience.
